Clamp and press gently the coax stripper tool around the cable Once the tool is in place around the cable, smoothly spin the tool around the cable 4 or 5 times Pull the cut portion of the cable Make sure that the aluminum shield is levelly cut with the insulator Bend back the exposed aluminum braided shield of the cable with your fingers Make sure that no aluminum braided shield is attached to the inner conductor Insert the RG-6 compression type connector to the RG-6 cable Make sure that the end portion of insulator is levelly to the inner surface of the connector Make sure that the inner conductor is exposed over the RG-6 connector Insert your cable and connector into the compression tool and press down on the handles. Make sure to cut the inner conductor diagonally and leveled to the outer surface of the conductor. Perform pull test
