Update for RMT members on the Alstom ATW 175 contract

Pay deal settled with 3%

and 5-day holiday boost
levels to be set in line with the National Living
CLEANERS on the Axis Alstom Class 175
Wage Foundation rate, as well as a sick-pay scheme
contract will receive a three-per cent pay rise
from October 1, bringing basic rates to 7.42 per and other improvements.
hour equivalent to RPI inflation plus 1.2 per
cent and 8.42 for supervisors
Holidays for those currently on 28 days will be
boosted, with an extra days entitlement added for
each year of service over three years, up to a
maximum of 33 across the contract
Following talks with the company, and in
consultation with your rep, the RMT executive
endorsed the deal as the best achievable for through
negotiation, and we have asked the company to
implement the deal as soon as possible.
A further review will take place in March 2017.
