It's actually
pretty easy.
Make sure your phone is running stock ROM, but it is rootted. Use terminal emulator and type
the following codes:
- su
- Cat / dev/block/bml5> / sdcard/bml5.img
- Exit (2x)
On your SD card if it checks a file called bml5.img. Open it on your PC with a hex editor (eg
Hex Editor XVI32) and find the following combination:
FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 30 30 30 30 30
30 30 30
This combination is for several times and gives an 8-digit code (right). Write down this code.
Insert a SIM card that does not work on your Gio. You will be prompted for a code. Enter the 8
digit code and ready.
