Vocabulary: all and none (general)
Grammar:
- common adjectives;
- yes/no answers and negative statements;
Main focus: to enlarge Ss vocabulary; to give short answers todifferent questions.
Objectives:
A) Cognitive objectives: by the end of the lesson Ss will have:
1) learnt new vocabulary;
2 ) given short answers to different questions;
3) used common adjectives in sentences;
4) matched adjectives to pictures and used adjectives in their own statements;
5) practiced and developed speaking skills;
6) practiced and developed writing skills.
B) Affective objectives:
1) to create a warm atmosphere in order to offer the background for smooth, easy
conversations between teacher and students;
2) to make students confident in themselves when speaking a foreign language.
Skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing
Interaction: T- Ss, S-T, Ss-Ss,PW,IW.
Assumed knowledge: - I assume that students already know the meaning of some of the
common adjectives used during this class. They are expected to give short answers to
different questions.
Anticipated problems: - if she thinks it is necessary, the teacher will offer the students
guidance in solving certain exercises;
- some Ss might have problems when working in pairs;
- a few among the Ss may be given supplementary explanations in Romanian.
- some students might not remember the forms of the verb to be in the Present.

Assessment activity: the students will be assessed on class participation.


Teaching techniques: conversation, dialogue, exercise.
Methods of teaching: Communicative Approach
Teaching aids: pictures, blackboard, coloured chalk, students books and notebooks.
