    WHEREFORE, the Petition for Certiorari is PARTIALLY GRANTED.

    The
    assailed Decision dated 22 April 2013 and Resolution dated 29 April 2014 of the
    NLRC are AFFIRMED with MODIFICATION that petitioner is given an award of
    nominal damages in the amount of thirty thousand pesos (P30,000.00).
