Heading for the year 2040

This report presents and analyses the impact of developing technology
regarding day-to-day life in Romania and beyond. It has as areas of focus the
workplace, travel conditions and the home environment.
Work
Because of massive developments in the field of robotics, it is to be
expected that robots will take on the jobs and duties of many field workers, or,
better put, any job that can be transformed into a computer algorithm. This is
not necessarily good, as many people will become unemployed, especially in the
less-developed, rural areas of Romania, but a well-thought educational system
could resolve this issue.
Due to the increasing ease of digital communication, telecommuting will
also grow in popularity, as many more people will prefer the comfort of working
from home over work.

Travel
Given the automation of many processes, such as ticket-buying and airport
security checks, and also the introduction of new and powerful vehicles,
travelling will, expectedly, become much easier.
Seeing more of the world is a great thing, and a lot of people will be
interested in doing so.

Home
Building technology has evolved as well, and many new homes are now
built in new places. This is good, as population has increased significantly as
well; these new homes are also well-built, energy self-sufficient and ecologicallyoriented, doing much to help heal Earths ecosystems.

In conclusion, new technology will mostly improve daily life for humans
and planet Earth alike, although it could also have unexpected consequences if
not used intelligently.
