abused? What are your arguments for Universality Principle of State
Jurisdiction?
3. What is State Responsibility in international law? Discuss the Risk and
Fault theories as foundations of State Responsibility. Explain various
elements of State Responsibility.
4. What do you think are the major defences against State Responsibility?
5. Define State Succession. Discuss various ways how state succession may
take place. State the rights and duties of the predecessor state and the
successor state in respect of property, treaties, archives and public debts.
