FOURTH STAR TO THE RIGHT

A young boy lies on his bed

An open book of Moby Dick laying on his chest
His closed eyes darting in rem sleep
The white whale chases the boy and Captain Ahab over the water crest

The young boy's attention turns to the sky

As Peter Pan swoops down from above
Sprinkles pixie dust on the boy
The boy and Peter fly off with Wendy, who Peter loves

The boy is sound asleep, but his eyes are wide open
His heart races with all this adventure around
And all because his mother made him read some books
Like the book about The Baskervilles Hounds

Children will get caught up in the adventure

If they have a chance to see what it is about
But it all starts with the parents
And the first thing you need to do is open your mouth

Now the boy is hooked on stories

That take him to different lands
Like Zulu Dawn in the Kalahari, Africa
Where the boy and English soldiers make their last stand
57

This love of reading, now will last a life time

The boy will teach his children to appreciate the same
And all because his parents took the time
To show the books and stories where Legends came
