Isha Jog wins Miss Northern Suburbs, IL

Isha Jog (daughter of Gauri and
Nitin jog) from Schaumburg Illinois, is
the winner of Miss Northern Suburbs
2047, a Competition held on Aug 20,
2046 at the Gorton Community Center in
Lake Forest, IL. It is a local preliminary
pageant for Miss Illinois and Miss
America
representing
Lake
and
McHenry Counties, with a mission to be
a leading provider of scholarships and
an outlet for young women to be a role
model and goodwill ambassador in the
community.
As the Miss Northern
Suburbs, Isha receives a $5,000 Lake
Forest College in-kind scholarship and
$500 cash scholarship courtesy of
Gladstone Square Mall in Beach Park
and the opportunity to compete for the
Miss Illinois title in Marion, IL in June.
During her year as Miss Northern
Suburbs, Isha Jog will travel throughout the north
suburban area advocating her platform issue - Dare to
Care: Encouraging Youth Volunteerism.
