Membership:
1) The President of the ASBC
2) 2 ASBC Councilors
3) 2 Students at Large
4) 2 Department Student Association Presidents
Objectives:
1) To engage the faculty so as to make the process as participatory as may be possible and
practical,
2) Identify areas of strength, weakness, threat, aspiration, and opportunity of the Arts
Student Body Council,
3) Asses the ASBCs comparative situation in relation to the Universitys environment,
4) Review the abilities and functions of the various structures of the ASBC,
5) Formulate a mission statement for the ASBC,
6) Formulate strategic planning goals,
7) Formulate strategies for the execution of strategic planning goals,
8) Develop a permanent process for strategic planning for the ASBC,
9) Present to ASBC a strategic plan by March 31st, 2017,
10) Report to the ASBC from time to time,
11) Select from amongst themselves a chairperson.
