Manager Self-Services

Agenda

Ability to find the right people in your organization faster and therefore work more efficiently
with manager self-services
Background
The embedded Org Chart views are an alternative, optional frontend to the existing
Object and Data Provider (OADP)-based frontends in the applications mentioned.
In case the user logs-on in the Accessibility mode, the classical OADP Web Dynpro
screens will automatically show up and be used by the screenreader software.
Note on Licensing:
The embedded Org Chart view has been developed in cooperation with Nakisa.
The usage of this component (technical name EMBEDDED_ORGCHART 605) is free
of charge for MSS Customers, i.e. customers who have purchased the respective
license types for Manager Self-Service.
In contrast to Nakisas solution extension SAP Talent Visualization by Nakisa (STVN),
the Embedded OrgChart for MSS is not tied to an additional license fee - it is not sold
as part of STVN, but is integral part of SAP ERP EhP5.

therefore visible in the org chart
Show in hierarchy feature allows user to identify search results in hierarchy to verify
whether they have found what they had been looking for.
Advanced Search
Search with combination of search fields across object types
E.g. searching for Org Unit ID will bring up the corresponding Org Unit as well as the
assigned objects (positions or employees) in the Org Unit in the results lists.
