To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Eunice Katherine Espaa Dukha. I am writing to introduce myself and talk about my
skills and my career goals. I am currently a Senior at Carson High and I would describe myself
best as a patient, hardworking, and flexible student/colleague. I plan to major in Business,
specifically Financing, for the reason being that I am familiar with numbers and aware of the fact
that financing is found in a variety of departments. I have participated in several businessoriented programs at school such as: the annual NFTE Business Competition, a Financial
Literacy course, and ITEP Internship Workshops. All three have not only taught me the basics of
business, but have made me familiar with the corporate world. I have greatly increased my
networking skills and gained confidence to voice my opinions.
As I am applying for colleges this year, I still look for opportunities that can give me more
professional experience towards the career path I have chosen, which I have mentioned,
Financing. I was recently accepted for a Linked Learning unpaid internship with LAUSD and
Im am excited to work with new people and provide help. I believe that any professional setting,
may it be business-oriented or not, helps one familiarize with conduct in a workplace. That is
also another reason why I am thankful to have been accepted for an internship because it is a
valuable experience.
I believe that one of my greatest strengths is that I am flexible. A common skill business people
need is problem solving, especially in situations where they are face with a sudden circumstance.
I am flexible in a sense that I can analyze a situation and come up with a reasonable solution to
the problem. In another sense, I am also flexible regarding to roles. I can take the lead or be an
excellent team member because in any role, I motivate the people or the group I work with. My
classmates know that if youre in my group, you will do work, no matter how much you think
youll slack off.
Thank you for taking the time.
Sincerely,

Eunice Dukha
