As a murder takes place, detective Tommy Wayne Bundy must solve the case
but his greatest ideas only come to him in this tunnel.

Brief outline of idea: (No more than 10 lines)

When Jane Toppan is murdered in cold blood, detective Tommy Wayne
Bundy is on the case, the only problem is that he cannot get any clues
at all. Only when he walks down this dark and mysterious tunnel does
he think and work out different clues to help him solve the case. Each
day he walks down the tunnel does he work out a different yet vital clue.
At the end he finally works out that he was wrong all along, he has been
looking for a male killer when its actually a female, Juana Barraza.

Detailed plot:

Equilibrium

Tommy is sitting at his desk doing paperwork he has a

glass of whisky and is just finishing up an old case. All
is calm, he is sitting under the glow of the desk lamp, and
the rest of the room is dark.

Disruption

His phone rings and there is a man on the other end of the
line. He is telling Tommy about a murder that has taken
place just around the corner from his house. The
mysterious man on the other end of the line, which the
audience can guess is his boss, is telling Tommy where the
murder took place and that its his duty to solve it.

Recognition

Tommy realised that the murder was around the corner

and knew instantly he must solve it. As he walked down
the street and lit a cigarette, he started thinking about
what he might see about the victim, thinking about the
fingerprints, the weapon used and the killer.

Attempt to
repair

When he showed up, he saw the victim and recognised it

as the local bar tender Jane Toppan. He knew her well. He
begins to work out some leads but then comes to a stop.
He goes home and tries to work some more at his desk.
Montage of him getting more and more stressed. Suddenly
knocks over whisky over a photograph of the scene.
Forced to look at the image he notices something and
begins to pick up stuff and starts running to the crime
scene. When he arrives he looks around and mutters to
himself and works out who the real murderer is, Juana
Barraza. Tommy goes to the local bar and finds Juana and
arrests her for the murder.
Screen cuts to Tommy working at his desk when suddenly
the phone rings and he answers the phone smiling.
