They are ideally suited to conveyor control and similar applications. The timing logic functions offered in the "T9" models provide additional contol capabilitiesover and above the ON/OFF (nodelay)functionof the bbasic models. Q85 seasors have convenient wiringchamber with ‘wo conduit entrances for ease of connection and mounting. Polarized retroreflecive, short-ange and long-range diffuse, and opposed mode moxiels are offered. See individual model de- scriptions, gain curves, and beam patterns, page 2. All models have both asinking (NPN) and asoureing (PNP) solicstate ourput; each is capable of switching up 10 150 ‘mA (continuous) An aliemative, low-saturation NPN output is also provided for easy, direct interfacing to TTL and similar circuitry. (085 Series desensorsare available with achoiceofeitherON/OFF ourput or programmable timing output logic moves. Program- able timing logic ("TO") modi provice eight switch-selectabie logic functions: ON/OFF (ao delay), ON delay, OFF delay, ON/ OFF delay, one-shot (pulse), on-delayed one-she, limit timer, and oméelayed limit timer. The adjustable time range for delay functions and pulse length 011 to 5 seconds. All models have a SENSITIVITY contol for precise acjustment of sensing gain. ‘Twotop-mountedLED indicators are visiblethrough awindow in the wiring chambers gasketed cover. The ed indicator (Banners ‘exclusive AID™ system") lights whenever the sensor “sees” its, ‘modulated light source, and pulses ata rate proportional to the strength of the received light signal. The yellow output indicator lights whenever a Q85 output is conducting. (Q85 Series seasors have rugged yellow Cycolac® ABS housings \withultrasonically-welded acrylic lenses. A gasketed ABS cover protecis the wiring chamber and the timingand sensitivity adjust- ment controls inside. Two 1/2-14 NPSM conduit entrances are provided, and 2 plug and gasket are included for sealing of a Possible unused entrance. Q85 Series sensors are rated NEMA 1, 2,3,38,4,4X, 6, OP, 12, and 13 (LECIP67).
