BMOA BOARD MEETING

June 4, 2016

BMOA board meeting was held June 4, 2016. Board members present were: Lillian
Bagus, Bill Raub, Terry Straup, Hans Wile, Carol Leech, Bill Wallace, Bill Carl, Sandy
Roberts, Bill Raub and Liz Posner.
Meeting was called to order by Pres. Ken Skahn. The minutes from the previous
meeting were read by secretary, Carol Leech. They were approved as read. The financial
report was read by treasurer, Lillian Bagus. She pointed out that there were not as many
donations as last year at this time and that not as many dues were paid as last year, this
time. The report was approved as read. Ken suggested raising the dues to $300. For the
year 2017-2018, then to $350. The following year. This will be brought up at the annual
meeting
OLD BUSINESS:
Getting new road signs was, again, discussed. Lillian said that a few donations have
come in, but not enough. We need about $1500 for all the signs, about $30. a sign.. This
will be brought up at the annual meeting, at which time we will ask for donations. None
will be ordered until we get more money.
Terry said that most of the road work was done, but because of rains, not all got
finished. So far, about $10,300 has been spent. Concerning snow plowing- Terry would
like to see which areas are private drive ways and should not be plowed. Since some
drive ways need to be used for the plow to turn around, each case will be looked at
individually. He will discuss this with the plow driver at a later date.

NEW BUSINESS:
Bill Raub was thanked for the work he has done on the flower bed at the bottom of the
mountain. There have been many compliments about how nice it looks.
Lillian still needs addresses for a few home owners on the mountain. She either has
outdated addresses, or no address at all.
She also brought up that a couple of realtors of forclosed properties say that we can
not get all the back money that is due. For this reason, it was asked if we would approve
charging $50.00 for each resale certificate that is requested from the realtors. We have
been told that other HOA get this. A motion was made, 2nd and approved to require this
before we send a certificate. Also, a letter asking for the name and contact information of
the new owner.
With no more business, a motion was made, 2nd and passed to adjourn the meeting.
We will meet again after the annual meeting on Sept. 10, 2016 which will begin at 1:00
PM.
