Why did you choose as your written assignment?

I did choose this topic because I especially like the Ecuadorian food that the
contributions of the various regions: coastal, sierra, oriente and Galapagos with
different customs and traditions. Every Sunday going to eat with my family
encebollado and occurred to me the idea of comparing the popular food of the
United States with my favorite food. Although the United States have a variety of
popular foods fundamentally created of immigrants from different countries of
Europe, Asia, Africa and others. On the one hand this full meal of its appeal
marketing, the hamburger popular is a clear example.
I know a little of the hamburger story, The hamburgers recipe was acquired by
German immigrants in the city of Hamburg. In 1855 Charlie Nagreen, in Wisconsin,
decided to crush his albondigone meat and put it between a bread to facilitate
consumption which became very popular in the United States. Nowadays, in
California city, the hamburger has various forms but the main ingredients are:
toasted buns, onion, cheese slice, beef, lettuce and tomato.
What did you learn from the Witten assessment ?
I did learn the written assessment many things especially the origin of the
hamburger when the Tatars were tribes that populated Europe, their armies moved
fast and they always had to eat riding, therefore they stored meat strips under the
chair of their horses, which shred, so in this way arose the ground meat for the
burger. I also learned that the burger is a meal that can affect the body and have
consequences in the future, however, the preparation the hamburger depends of
the person as you eat. On the other hand encebollado is a fish soup, which can be
served with banana, popcorn or bread, this food is usually eaten in the morning,
another way Ecuadorians eat when they go to a party last night and the next day
have a hangover.
