Tick Tock
They say watching a clock makes time go slower, but no matter how long I look time
always seems to zoom past me. Time to look at where all my time goes.
The top three activities that I spend most of my time doing are sleeping, friends, and
school. I could easily spend less time socializing and more time doing homework or at my job,
which would benefit me more.

Since college schedules are not set up like high school schedules having a chart of all my
classes will help me with how I can spend my time wisely. I wont have to go to school every
day for the same times Monday through Friday. In college, I get to pick my classes and pick the
times.

My time management in college should be more focused on school than anything else. I
need to put my classes first and have more hours spent doing homework and school than
socializing.

I have noticed that the things that were consuming most of my time in high school will
not be as time consuming in college. In high school I spent almost 30 hours of my time at school,
but in college I will only be in class for 18 hours. This will give me more time to do homework,
which is why I will spend 18 hours on homework instead of only 12 every week. I plan on

cutting back on my social time, in order to stay well rested. In high school I spent 38 hours with
friends, and 44 hours sleeping. In college I plan on spending only 27 hours with friends, and 50
hours sleeping. This will ensure that I have a positive attitude throughout the week and I dont
fall asleep in class. Some things such as work and hygiene have remained fairly similar, which is
a valid use of my time. I think that most of my time in college will be spent on either school or
sleep in order to do my best and graduate with the best grades possible.
