Why Arial font is best: it is a sans serif font that is easily readable in both print and onscreen.

Format for draft: Word document, 4 pages at 8.5" x 11" size.

This is TNR 14. The goal is to allow our publisher Lisa to easily create a document that can be
professionally printed for mailouts (very large file size with high resolution photographs).
She then reformats it to create a compressed PDF version that can be viewed online and easily
printed (file size 2 MB or less).
Format for final:
(Arial 12) Italics for emphasis is acceptable. Bold is acceptable. Do not use underlining.

(TNR 14) Italics for emphasis is acceptable. Bold is acceptable. Do not use underlining.

When sharing photos and graphics to use in the newsletter, attach them to the email rather than
imbedding them in the document.
Use original photos when possible (not reduced size). Images taken from Facebook are often low
resolution and cannot be enlarged without getting blurry.
