Ehrenreich, Barbara. Nickle and Dimed. N.p.: n.p., n.d. Print.

In this Book/ Social experiment author Barbara Ehrenreich throws herself into the
working class to see if living on minimum wage is possible. She sets off on a journey to only use
the money she earns at her many minimum wage jobs without any outside help. She also neglect
her own peronal savings prior to the experiment to create a more authentic experiment. She
struggles with social, racial, gender, and religious barriers that everyday minimum wage workers
must endure.

This book was written and published by a well known author who is also the person conducting
the experiment. Her experiences are credible and reliable. She talks about real people and real
situations that happened in her experiment. This source is very credible and easy to use as
evidence for the research question. Barbara paints a strong picture of workplace conditions in her
novel.
