October 23, 2016

Dear Parent,
The month of October is ending and our year is revving up. I will give you a general
outlay now and as dates approach, I will send out more details.
Fundraisers for Our Class Trip to Sioux Falls and Graduation Celebration
Our goal: $1700
Pampered Chef catalog party: Students will bring home a catalog to ask family &
friends to purchase items. The catalogs will be available to us prior to Thanksgiving
break and the orders will be delivered to me before Christmas break. This is a great
opportunity for Christmas gifts. This will be our main fundraiser.
Pizza Ranch: December 19th 5:00-8:00 p.m. Please write this date on your calendar, as
I will need student and parent help.
Soulful Creations: This is a DIY painting on canvas event that we will book for early
spring. Students, parents, family, friends will have the opportunity to reserve their
places for this event in the parish hall.
Another idea is a cookbook of recipes shared by IC School families. Our school did a
project similar to this back in 1996. What is your thought about this type of project with
the goal of Easter delivery? I need feedback, please.
