Dear John Smith, I would love to come work for you here at Swiss Chalet. Id
like to apply for the position of cashier. I think that I would be a good fit for this job
because I have an understanding of how the cash register works and I have used
one before. I know how to organize all of the money and I would take the job very
seriously because I understand the importance of each position and each worker on
the job. I saw your add on craigslist looking for more workers and it caught my
attention. I would really enjoy working in the restaurant industry and I would love it
if I could have the opportunity to be a part of the Swiss Chalet family.

I have many skills that are necessary for this position. I have used a cash
register before and I have a good understanding of the basics on how to use it, so I
will not need much training or information about how it works. I am familiar with all
of the math components of the job and have gotten about 80% as my math grade
the last couple of years. I have also taken a course on babysitting which had a
section where we learned about first aid so I have some experience there and I
know what to do if there is an emergency on the job.
