Population of interest
705 individuals aged 54 - 94 years trom the Original and Ortspring Conorts meeting the folowing erterta:
+ had an occurrence of new-onset Atrial Fibrlation (AF)
+ not treated with warfarin at baseline
+ did not have a stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA), or death within 30 days of AF diagnosis.
+ without cheumatic mitral stenosis
