My name is Edwar Zuluaga. I study Civil Engineer. I am sixth semester. I
am from Guaviare, but when I was fiveteen years my family moved to Acacias. I miss my hometown, but I am conscious that be here is totally necessary because here my parents, my siblings and I have more opportunities to grow up. I began to study an engineering three years ago and I started to take English classes since 2013. At the school, I felt comfortable with my level, but here at the university I noticed I did not have a good level. I mean, I thought that, when I was in my first English class. Nowadays, I do not have a high level but for me some things that in the past were not completely clear now are clarified. Currently, I am on 4th level and I have to answer a nice and very interesting question: What have you learned a long of the semester? I believe I can response it if I sit down, let myself give a sight to the past situations, activities and the previous state of my language skills. Now, I can compare and say with confidence what I have learned though these months. For instance, some tenses that I have clarified are: present simple, present progressive, present perfect, going to, will, comparatives, superlatives, use of the articles and would. I really like that in this level we had the chance to express and share information about our likes, dislikes, the meaning of happiness for me and my thinking about recent issues. Also, I think I have improved my vocabulary and grammar. Finally, I believe every day in every class I learn things that let me grow as an efficient professional and a polite kind and conscious man who could make changes in our country. At least, I am very thankful for spend my time with my English class; I can say I had fun.
