Washington, Stephenville, Texas 76402 (254) 968-9000 Dear Hiring Committee, I'm contacting you concerning the Instructional Designer position at the Center for Instructional Innovation, at Tarleton State University. I saw the opening for this position on Tarleton State University web site, and I am excited to introduce myself to you and tell you about my qualifications. My relevant qualifications include that I'm a graduate student in Instructional Design and Technology at the University of Oklahoma. During my graduate school studies, I have learned the instructional learning theories and multiple learning tools and technologies in designing an effective learning courses or modules, especially for online learning development. I have also worked in a variety of positions that have allowed me to apply these principles to real world learning tasks. My current position is as a Graduate Assistant to assist faculty in the University of Oklahoma to initiate and develop an online master degree program. In this instructional design role, Im not only for assisting faculty in curriculum development, but also I created an online introductory course on the use of the learning management system which can be used by faculty all over campus in the future. With my skill set and proven track record, I feel that I can be a valuable addition to the Center for Instructional Innovation at Tarleton State University. Please find my enclosed resume.
