loyal.The author writes In the window the staff she set. To show that on
heart loyal yet. She is showing how she is loyal because later in the story
she sees someone and does not put her flag down. All day long that free
flag tost over the rebel host. This shows she is loyal because she kept the
flag up and did not put it down and it sat up there for the whole day.
