I am extremely pleased to recommend Margaret Vaughan . I have known Margaret for nearly
four years, and during that time I have found her to be a amazing student and an excellent citizen.
I know Margaret to be an extremely capable young individual who will certainly accomplish her
goals. I am also confident that Margaret will achieve at a very high academic level in her college
career. Certainly, Margaret is exceedingly bright and highly motivated to succeed.
In taking some very difficult classes, Margaret has maintained a 3.69 grade point average overall.
It is also noteworthy that Margaret has had good attendance throughout her school career,
illustrating her commitment to education. Margaret has also excelled in band and has been an
intricate part of of El Capitan High School band for the last 4 years; Ive always admired her
tenacity and determination to succeed in the classroom and with band. The determination and
hard work that she has demonstrated for her academics and band will be evident when she
reaches college. The energy that she will bring is contagious and will benefit the college that she
chooses to attend.
As important is her outstanding character. Margaret is very mature, and her maturity is evident
in her ability to assume the greater part of the responsibility for planning her education,
establishing goals, and preparing for college. It is also evident that Margaret is well liked by her
peers. Moreover, Margaret is highly respected by her teachers both for her abilities and for her
spirit of cooperation with others. In addition, Margaret has excellent manners and is courteous
to everyone. It is easy to see why people enjoy her company. It is clear that Margaret was raised
in a family that values honesty, hard work, commitment to personal improvement, and personal
responsibility.
Margaret is truly a fine young individual. She is dedicated to learning and works very hard to
accomplish her goals, both academic and personal. I feel strongly that Margaret is deeply
deserving of any help that may be offered. Therefore, I am very pleased to recommend Margaret
