Ever since then Parke club has grown from
strength to strength, but it does not come easy, only
hard work.

worked under different Chairmen - those that come
- johnny Howley, Michael McHale, Padraic
Reilly, Willie Murphy and Christy Murphy and | did a
term myself. Again not easy. But when you have strong
Secretaries and Chairpersons things go smoothly, or at
least one likes to think so.

for a match in Breaffy and when | met the Manager
Turlough | had a Peugeot 305 van with me and in it
were, I think, 17 players sitting 3 high in back of van. We
divided out the load and hit off for the match and won
