Health Science Club Constitution and Bylaw

Article I: Name and Purpose

Section A: Name-The name of this club shall be the Health Science Club.
Section B: Purpose-The purpose of this club shall be:
1.
To raise awareness of global health issues at Stevenson.
2.
To introduce the field of health sciences and medicine to students.
3.
To provide a forum for students interested in health sciences and medicine to
exchange ideas and learn more about the topic.
4.
To promote healthy lifestyle among students.
Article II: Membership
Section A: Eligibility-All Stevenson students and faculty are welcomed to join the club and nonmembers are encouraged to participate in meeting and activities.
Article III: Officers
Section A: Presidents- There will be 2 Co-leaders/Presidents (Amy Wang, Hongyu Lui)
Section B: Other positions- to be decided.
Article IV: DUTIES OF OFFICERS
Section A: President
1. Schedule meeting time and places.
2. Organize events such as discussions and smoothie runs.
3. Discuss with the faculty sponsor about ideas for the club.
4. Lead discussion
Article V: MEETINGS
Section A: Meetings- Meetings will be held during lunch periods and weekend twice a month
(dates to be determined regarding the schedule of members) 1-2 times a month.
Article VI: ADVISOR
Section A: Duties
1. Maintain an awareness of the activities and programs sponsored by the student club.
2. Meet on a regular basis with the leader of the student club to discuss upcoming meetings, long
range plans, goals, and problems of the club.
3. Attend meetings as often as schedule allows.
4. Be present at events organized by the club if schedule allows.
