Try:
sudo apt-get install libreoffice-script-provider-python
This will install a dependency python-uno which might resolve your issue.
After that try reinstalling the plugin, and it works.

Under fedora the package was libreoffice-pyuno
http://mednis.info/mendeleys-libreoffice-plugin.html
yum install python-openoffice

Mendeley

s LibreOffice Plugin not working in Fedora 18

Got this error:

(com.sun.start.lang.DisposedException) {{{Message= Binary URP bridge disposed during
call , Context=(com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @7f9191447838}}}
I solved this by installing Python support for LibreOffice.
yum install python-openoffice

Ah! Ok, sorry, this is my second bug report and I don't know the technical terms
/language to use.
Reverting to a previous version is for now, the way it works for me and I cannot
allow to wait for another solution (working on my thesis right now). There seem
s to be an issue with Mendeley and LibreOffice 5.1.3, but at least, a temporary
trick is to downgrade the package.
I'll be trying new releases later on (in some months) and get back with updates
on this bug.
Keep up the good work!

Hi,

in my case (Win 7 64 bit) I had no problem to get Mendeley work with latest Libr
eOffice after finding this solution:
Rename pythonloader.uno.dll in <LibO_installation>\Basis\program
to pythonloader.uno.dll.bak.
Replace it with pythonloader.uno.dll from OOo 3.3.
//dl.dropbox.com/u/19264180/pythonloader.uno.dll
Install the plugin by using the Extension Manager to load the .oxt file, in my c
ase "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mendeley Desktop\openOfficePlugin\Mendeley-0.0.84.ox
t."
