Update:
On the second presidential debate, was done in a town hall mode. WikiLeaks and mass media began to
release more scandals on each candidate prior to the debate. Trump and Clinton as this scandals came on each
other they decided to avoid facing them and redirecting their strategy to attack each other using these
problems as weapons. The fight took most of the time, for this reason neither of the candidate talked much of
actual policies. The few points they actually talked about werent 100% proven facts.
Week: 5
Date: MONDAY 10TH TO SUNDAY 16TH
Sources: VIDEO OF THE DEBATE: http://www.uspresidentialelectionnews.com/2016/10/full-video-thethird-final-trump-clinton-presidential-debate/

Closing with debates, the final presidential debate was the one. When comparing the other debates this was
the only one the was closer to be an actual debate. The scandals of both candidates were again mention but in
way less times. Trump fell apart during the debate he refused to accept the election outcome. It was clear that
he blew his last chance to improve his image in the eyes of the Americans.
3.
Which news sources did you find most useful in researching this topic? Which were the least useful?
The ones which include American peoples opinions because that help us to give us more an idea of what
they think being that they are living the situations that the candidates are making proposals. And also
because they speak freely and with full honesty. Then we compare those public opinions with reporters
opinions that are showed on the news (reliable news), and then also with statistics.
4. The media plays a powerful role in creating messages about each candidate. Choose one media source that
you discussed in Part I and answer the following questions.
Who was the author of the source?
The Washington Post
a. What format is used to present the source?
Articles that show what is going on with their presidential campaign, as well as opinions and other
interesting facts.
b. What points of views are included in this source? Are any points of view left out?
They remark both the negative and positive points from each candidate, they do not give personal
opinions.
c. What is the overall message of the source?
It shows us that when talking about debates, Hillary is the best speaker, while Trump has lots of failing
points and bad habits.
d. Do you agree with the sources message? Why or why not?
I agree, the articles describe what is happening and manages to keep their posts interesting and true,
without harming third people.
5. What do you think the outcome of the election will be? How do you think people in the United States and
members of the government will respond?
We really believe that the result will be completely different from statistics, there are a lot of people that is
just keeping their choice secretly. In my opinion I like to think that maybe at the last second the winner
could be one of the independents candidates (Stein or Johnson) because their ideas are more concise. And
well honestly both Trump and Clinton are not reliable candidates. Also it seems a lot that Trump is like a
candidate bait, that doesnt try to win reputation or people in order to make free way to Clinton by his
immaturity. It was so much hate to Donald that became a trending, everyone making jokes about him as
the bad candidate and so on. So yes, Clinton may will win the election thanks to her good reputation
having on her side lots of famous people including Latinos ones that are bait too to many people that is
ignorant because they are just following tv, mass media and not reliable news shows. We just hope that a
surprise will outcome from this election, where people will think smartly and will not choose a trending
candidate.
