Abstract
Dealing with this thesis topic vital role in the lives of the Palestinian
community in general and Bethlehem in particular, where she will discuss
the theme "tourism potential in the province of Bethlehem" and ways of its
development, is to study to review the historical foundations and cultural
and natural and human resources for Bethlehem, and then study tourism
potential to maintain during different periods of time through different eras
of civilizations and the legacy of these civilizations of the parameters and
the effects of later becoming a top tourist and cultural important to
maintain.
Formed the study of five classes that focused on the issue of tourism
in Palestine in general and the study area of Bethlehem in particular, has
been addressed during the study to examine the reality of the tourism
potential of cultural, natural, human and cultural rights enjoyed by the
conservative and intercepted by obstacles and obstructions subjective and
objective were analyzed and causes of these difficulties and suggested the
study of the development plan for the development of the reality of tourism
in the province.

Been used many sources of information from the relevant authorities

direct the subject and supported the study, statistical analysis and graphs to
assess the reality of tourism in Bethlehem.
The results of the study that Bethlehem has many elements of
cultural, historical, cultural, natural directly related to tourism development
and has a special important tourist with the exception of Jerusalem from the
rest of the West Bank and Gaza Strip and Tourism plays an important role
in economic activity and employment opportunities for residents in the
province.
But they still need more industrial activity and the care and attention
and development to make better use of those tourism potentials which
blooms out of Bethlehem.
The study recommended to use the plan of development proposed for
the development of the tourism in Bethlehem, also recommended the need
for coordination and cooperation among all public and private institutions
and private sector institutions related to the subject of tourism, and also
emphasized the importance of providing government support for the
tourism sector in the province.
Finally the study recommended to work on raising national
awareness among the citizens and the need to maintain public and private
property matters relating to tourism in the province of Bethlehem in order
to serve future generations in all fields.
