    Barbara Frietchie

    In the poem Barbara Frietchie, the main character Barbara is a brave woman.For example she
    raises the flag without fear of getting shot.She says shoot if you must this old gray head.But
    spare your country's flag.Barbara is brave because in out of all the people in town she raised a
    flag not fearing anything.She sticks her head out the window without caring if shes going to get
    shot and She says shoot if you must.But spare your countrys flag,the men felt a kind of
    sadness and just passes by.Therefore Barbara shows that she is brave.
