In 2009, the initial charter capital of FLC Group started with 18 billion VND and has
increased dramatically through years from 2009 to 2015. In 2010, Annual General
meeting approved issuing individual shares to outside shareholders who have
strong financial capacity and issued more shares to current shareholders. In details,
FLC issued more VND 70 million shares to existing shareholders to increase the
charter capital to VND 170 billion VND in 2011.
Especially, it can be seen that there was a significant increase in charter capital of
FLC Groups. In 2012, FLC Group issued more than 60 million shares to make share
swap with FLC Land, increasing its charter capital to VND 771.8 billion from VND170
billion. In 2013, FLC issued shares to current shareholders with rate 1:1 to double its
charter capital, issued 60 million individual shares and offer shares to the public to
pay dividends at ratio of 4% to boost charter capital to VND 3,149 billion. After that,
in 2015, FLC group succeeded to issue VND800 billion worth of convertible bonds
and bonus shares to existing shareholders and its charter capital reached VND
5,299 billion.
Generally, FLC Group has increased its charter capital by its own internal financial
strength through the main activity which is issuing shares, rather than borrowing
loans from the banks.
