They have an ambitious plan which we fully support and would like to share with you. STORM Eindhoven is an interdisciplinary student team, consisting of 23 Dutch students of the Eindhoven University of Technology. They have developed the world’s first electric touring motorcycle STORM Pulse, which is equipped with an innovative, swappable and modular battery pack providing a range of up to 380 km. To energize people, they will demonstrate the benefits of electric vehicles by touring around the world within 80 days whilst recharging batteries using the existing electrical grid ‘The fact that STORM is recharging its batteries locally creates possiblities for interesting events. The media coverage acquired through events are a great way to inspire as many people as possible with their vision: promoting e-mobility worldwide. Together with companies, enthusiastic individuals and governmental and ‘educational institutions, they have the opportunity to show the future of mobility to the world Where innovation starts is our slogan and we are proud that thi is reflected through the actions of our students. ‘STORM perfectly contributes to two of our major focus areas: energy and mobility.
