SECTION 1: Findings
Congress makes the following findings:
1) Younger generations often forget about their parents or grandparents when
they are pursuing their own career.
2) Many elderly are forgotten and left to live alone, and many do not have the
financial and physical capability to do so.
3) Elderly Homes are often over priced and expensive.
4) In 2014 the population of citizens above the age of 65 was 14.5% and is
expected to increase to 21.7% by 2020
5) Senior Citizens tend to spend more on healthcare than the average
American
SECTION 2: Purpose
The purpose of this bill is to help senior citizens that are living in large cities, that are
struggling to get by. This bill will allow senior citizen to request for maintenance
from their children that are able to provide financial aid.
SECTION 3: General Provisions
People from the ages 65 and above, will be allowed to request for maintenance from
their children. This provides that their children either provide monthly allowances,

them in court of law.
This is a method of helping Senior citizens without spending federal dollars.
The children being sued, are allowed to call on other siblings that were not provided
in the original maintenance request.
The maintenance payments are to be based according to the children's salary.
People with higher salaries will have to pay more than those with lower ones.
However, there can be exceptions; if the childs income is deemed below the poverty
standards of the state, he/she may be exempted from this trial.
Parents with an abusive or a criminal background is immediately exempt from the
privileges that this bill provides.
Senior citizens whose income does not meet the maximum amount provided by
Social Security may be included in the provisions of this bill.
