A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH- REGIONAL
HEALTH OFFICE 4A (CALABARZON) TO CONSTRUCT A BIRTHING

FACILITY WITHIN THE BAUAN MUNICIPAL COMPOUND UNDER THE

BOTTOM-UP BUDGETING (BUB) FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2015

WHEREAS, the Department of Health (DOH) Central Office had issued a

Comprehensive Fund Release for Calendar Year (CY) 2015 to the Regional Health Office
(RHO) No. 4A to fund priority health programs, projects and activities (PAPs) including
the implementation of the poverty reduction projects of LGUs in CALABARZON under
Bottom-Up Budgeting (BUB);
WHEREAS, the total amount of Three Million Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php
3,200,000.00) is for the implementation of the different programs/projects indicated to
the approved Local Poverty Reduction Plan (LPRAP), General Appropriations Act (GAA)
and other projects under the Grassroots Participatory Budgeting Process (GPBP)
formerly known as BUB;
WHEREAS, in Resolution No. 15-03-1042, this august body authorized Hon. Ryanh
M. Dolor, Municipal Mayor, to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the
DOH-ROH 4A for the implementation of BUB Projects in this municipality;
WHEREAS, relative to the foregoing, Dr. Victor C. Bejer, Municipal Health Officer,
sent a letter dated June 24, 2016 to Honorable Julian C. Casapao, Municipal Vice Mayor
and SB Presiding Officer, requesting for a resolution authorizing DOH-ROH 4A to
construct a birthing facility within the Bauan Municipal Compound;
WHEREAS, Birthing Facility is one of the projects under LPRAP in connection to
BUB;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the

Honorable Sangguniang Bayan Members, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH- REGIONAL HEALTH OFFICE 4A (CALABARZON) TO
CONSTRUCT A BIRTHING FACILITY WITHIN THE BAUAN MUNICIPAL
COMPOUND UNDER THE BOTTOM-UP BUDGETING (BUB) FOR CALENDAR
YEAR 2015
