SECTION 1: Findings
Congress makes the following findings:
1) 37 people were killed trying to get a snack from a vending machine from
1978 to 1995.
2) A vending machine weights on average 700 pounds, and if it falls over a
person, it can cause severe injuries or even death.
3) The unbalanced shape of the vending machine makes it easier to fall over to
the front side than to the other sides.
SECTION 2: Purpose
The purpose

of this bill is to protect our people from being smashed over by vending
machines by making sure vending machines in the U.S. are strongly held in
place, preventing them from falling over. This act will also spread the awareness
about the dangers of shaking a vending machine, which could potentially cause it
to overturn.
SECTION 3: General Provisions
This Act requires vending machines in the U.S. to install a strong foundation
underneath each corner of the vending machine, and fortify it with overturning
preventive structures. This will make sure that the vending machines are strongly
held in place in case of a potential overturn, and provide a safe environment for
those who are desperate for cold beverages.
This Act requires vending machines to have warning signs indicating the danger of
shaking a vending machine, and the harm it can cause by falling over someone.
By doing so, those who are not aware of the fact that vending machine overturns
can be lethal will be informed of this matter. Furthermore, these warning signs
will become a deterrent for those who are planning to shake a vending machine
or take on any form of offensive action toward a vending machine.

SECTION 4: Definitions
Vending Machine: a machine that dispenses small articles such as food, drinks, or
cigarettes when a coin or token is inserted.
Overturning: tip (something) over so that it is on its side or upside down.
