Minutes of the First Executive Meeting

held on Sunday, 8 May 2016
at 10.30 a.m. in the BKBM 2.8

Mr. Chong Han Ming Operational Manager
1. Chairperson Welcome Address
The chairperson called the meeting to order at 10.40 a.m. and welcomed all the
members.
2. Apologies for Absence
Apologies for absence were received from Mr. Goh Say Buan and Mr. Chong
Han Ming as they were attending an entrepreneurship seminar in Kuala Lumpur.
3. Correspondence
The secretary informed the committee that he had received a letter of invitation
from Universiti Utara Malaysia for their Spring event on 16 th May 2016. The
members agree to accept the invitation.
It was agreed that Mr. Chong Han Ming would respond to the invitation from
Universiti Utara Malaysia and be in charge of organizing the trip to their Spring
event.
4. Reports
The financial manager presented the latest report on the companys financial
standing.
Net profit from cleaning services : RM 8, 346.00

5. Special Business
5.1 Capital
The chairperson informed the members that the remaining capital of our company
is not enough to purchase additional equipment and machines.
Mr. Arif Furqan Bin Mohd. Faud proposed that additional capital should be
increased. After much discussion, it was unanimously agreed that Mr. Arif Furqan
Bin Mohd. Faud would search for additional funds from the investors who have
interest to our company.
5.2 Number of Workers
Mr. Arif Furqan Bin Mohd. Faud reported that our company is lack of workers.
This is because the rate of our business is increasing.
The chairperson proposed that we should hire more workers. It was seconded by
Mr. Han Yun Yaw. The job advertisement could be placed in the local newspaper
and online to attract experienced workers for the interview session.
5.3 Workers Attitudes
Mr. Han Yun Yaw reported that the laziness problem of workers. Besides, the
workers always come late to work. This problem cause them cant accomplish
their work on time.
Mr. Arif Furqan Bin Mohd. Faud proposed that Human Resource Department
should provide more training. During the training session, moral values lesson is
one of the important element that provided to the workers.
6. Date, Time and Venue of the Next Meeting
It was decided that the next meeting be held on Sunday, 22 May 2016 at 10.20
a.m. in the BKBM 2.3. The secretary would send out a notice closer to the date of
the meeting.
7. Close
The chairperson thanked all the members for their participation during the
meeting and adjourned the meeting at 11.30 a.m.
