NSF GRFP
The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program supports outstanding graduate students in STEM
& Social Sciences who are pursuing research-based Master's & doctoral degrees at accredited

Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) & Writing Advisement


TheCLS Programis part of a U.S. government effort to expand the number of Americans studying and mastering critical foreign languages. We will begin with a general information session and then offer advisement
on statement drafts. *Please bring a hard copy of your CLS statements if applying this year.
WISE: Opportunities for Women in STEM Research
WISE faculty and undergraduate researchers will share their research experiences and explain how to apply
for the WISE undergraduate researcher program.

Rotary Global Grant Information Session


Rotary Global Grants are used to fund graduate level study and sustainable, measurable and needs-based
community service projects to be completd during a scholarship period related to one of six areas of focus.
USC Scholar Distinctions Information Session
Academic Honors and Fellowship staff will offer an overview of the Renaissance, Global and Discovery
Scholar distinctions and provide insight into the application process and prize competitions.
USC Advanced Fellowships for PhDs
The USC Graduate School provides a number of competitively awarded fellowships for students who have
successfully completed the first years of their PhD program.
Writing A Personal Statement
Faculty from the USC Writing Program will offer tips on how to write a personal statement that can be used
for graduate school and fellowships.
