The definition of an organisation has undergone a great deal of evolution, from

being an entity comprising of multiple people having a collective goal, to being

an institution of individuals who seek to align personal interests with the goals of
the firm, to create a perfect equilibrium between individual satisfaction and
workplace productivity.
Most firms today struggle to achieve desired results only due to a lack of potent
leadership. A culture promoting intrapreneurial mind set must be nurtured by
organisations to develop future leaders. Emotional intelligence is an emerging
necessity for organisations, as it fosters a direct connect between individuals,
and thus must be rewarded. Due to the proliferation of successful businesses,
and the high demand for innate talent, inculcating a sense of pride and a feeling
of belongingness for the organisation, within employees, amidst availability of a
variety of career prospects, is one the biggest challenges faced by companies,
which can be overcome by making employees aware of the impact their work
has on the organisation and the society as a whole.
The rate of change is changing, thus organisations need to encourage
collaborative efforts to increase the adaptability quotient of individuals to ensure
smooth transitioning in turbulent times.
