INT.

ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - NIGHT

ABEL wakes up feeling dizzy and exhausted. His head is
throbbing in pain and feels like throwing up. An
overwhelming stench floats through the dilapidated
warehouse. Looking around, he sees a big empty room, lowly
lit by a singular light bulb. In front of him is an old
television that shows a live feed. All he sees is a static
screen.
Abel rubs his eyes then
Suddenly the television
on the screen is a look

(Appearing on the screen while
Abel's attention is diverted)
Abel... Abel! (Beat) Just calm down
and listen to me. We don't have a
lot of time. I'm here to hel...
ABEL
(Interrupting the twin while
being in disbelief)
What the FU...?! Why do you look
like me? What is this... What the
HELL is going on?!
TWIN
(Panicked)
I don't have time to explain. I'm
you, Abel. I know its hard to
understand but you need to do what
I say, ok?
ABEL
(Laughing nervously and in
frustration)
Aha this is bullshit, this is some
sort of a sick joke. You're wearing
a mask or this is some special
effect thing isn't it!
TWIN
This is no joke Abel. Believe me.
(Beat) I am you.
ABEL
Nah, I dont believe you.
(Nervously laughing)
Whoever you are just let me go ok,
I know this is fake.
TWIN
Someone close to us died recently.
Remember Sarah?

ABEL
(Shocked)
What? (Beat) How do you know Sarah?
TWIN
Because I AM you, Abel
ABEL
No! You're not, this is a lie, let
me go or I'll call the poli...
TWIN
(Interrupting)
We never told Abi about the affair
with Sarah did we?
The twin puts his ring finger at the camera, showing Abel
his wedding ring. Abel looks down at his finger and sees the
same ring. Insinuating that it is the same person.
TWIN
You and I, we wear this ring, but
it doesn't mean anything.
ABEL
(In complete disbelief and
stunned)
I... I don't understand? How could
you know that? How are you... me...
I don't understand how this is
happening?!
Abel puts his head into his hands and stays there for a bit.
(Composing himself)
Ok, fine. Tell me, where am I am
and how or even WHY this is even
happening?
TWIN
I don't have much time to explain
that but I... well you, were taken
by someone.
ABEL
Someone? Who?
TWIN
You haven't met him yet but you
will. We both don't have the time
to waste, Abel. I've been through
this already and you gotta do
exactly as I say. (Beat) If you
want to escape safely.
ABEL
Oh Jesus!
PAUSE.

ABEL
Alright what to do I have to do?
(Trying to stand up he
collapses onto the floor)
What the fuc... No! I can't feel my
legs!
(In tears and screaming)
Help me! My legs, they're not
working! ARGHHH!
TWIN
Shh...! Don't worry I can help you.
But please be quiet, otherwise he
WILL return.
ABEL
(In tears and quietly mumbling
as if he is agreeing)
TWIN
This guy, he knocked you out with
something that caused you to become
paralysed from the waist down. If
you look to the right hand side of
the room there's a box underneath
that tarp. Inside it is a syringe
that will heal your legs.
ABEL
(Looking at the tarp on the
right)
Are you sure? Why would they he
leave it around here?
TWIN
(Quickly responding)
Because he's a sick twisted psycho.
Look, that's where it was when I
found it. Now go, before it's too
late.
Abel taking a deep breath falls onto the floor. In a bit of
pain he struggles as he begins to crawl towards the tarp. As
he struggles to pull himself he tries to learn more about
the situation.
ABEL
(Crawling)
This whole thing... it's just...
unbelievable. If you've been
through this, are you me from the
future?
TWIN (O.S)
I guess you could say that?
ABEL
Why haven't you escaped then?

TWIN (O.S)
I gotta help you out first
(sounding mysterious)
Then only, can I TRULY leave.
As Abel gets to the tarp, he removes it and opens the box.
Inside he finds a plain looking syringe with a clear
formula. Inspecting it closely he asks the Twin a question
ABEL
Where should I stick it then?
(Beat) Are you sure this is safe?
TWIN (O.S)
Yes it's completely safe. Stick it
into your hips, your legs will be
fine within a couple of minutes.
Abel positions himself. He pulls the right side of his jeans
down to expose his waist. As he goes to inject it he sees
several puncture wounds. SUDDENLY flash back scenes occur
where he injects him several times. As if it's happened in
his past. After the sequence he seems very puzzled.
TWIN (O.S)
Have you done it yet?
ABEL
Yeah, hang on.
Abel goes for the left side of his waist and injects it.He
screams in agony, then begins to crawl back to the chair and
picks him self up by the feet. Shaking his legs a bit he
gets closer to the television.
ABEL
Ok, "Abel" what do I do now?
TWIN
(Looking around panicked)
Behind you is a door, go through it
an you'll reach a corridor. Slowly
and quietly go through it and take
the first door on the right.
ABEL
So is that it?
TWIN
Simple as that. Now go! Good luck
Abel.
Without a response, Abel proceeds through to the corridor.
INT. CORRIDOR - NIGHT
ABEL cautious walks through the dark hallway. The florescent
lights above flicker rapidly. As he walks slowly he hears
footsteps. Frightened he ducks down and holds his breath to
listen out for anything. He hears more noises of movement.

Panicked he quickly goes into the first room on the right.

INT. CONTROL ROOM- NIGHT
ABEL closes the door behind him. As he takes a deep breath
he stands up and sees the control room. Much to his surprise
it is the same room that the Twin was in. Abel stands there
for a minute inspecting the room. He sees the chair, a
table, a computer and a headset with a mic. He goes towards
the chair and sits down. He looks down at the head set.
Beside it is a note, taped to the desk. It reads "Help
yourself and tell him to do these things. Guide him towards
the syringe to cure his legs then towards the control room
you're in. Once you do this you can leave." Signed "Abel".
He looks at the screen and sees himself passed out.
Suddenly a compilation of flashbacks occurs. Showing the
repetition of being in the chair and injecting himself then
going into the control room then passing out.
ABEL
(Under his breath then getting
louder)
I remember... I REMEMBER! Oh god
no! I've been here for days,
constantly repeating this sequence
over and over again!
Abel, filled with fury, grabs the camera as its recording
and runs out of the room and then into the room to confront
the Twin.
INT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - NIGHT
Once he gets into the room he sees an empty chair. He
frantically looks around and then screams.
ABEL
WHERE ARE YOU?! WHAT THE HELL IS
GOING ON?!
He looks around then specifically at the tarp. He sprints to
it and gets the syringe out to arm himself.
ABEL
(Whispering to himself as he
walks towards to tv)
Am I going crazy?
TWIN (O.S)
(His voice echos throughout
the room)
Are you crazy Abel? I don't think
so. Then again, if I'm you, then
you must be crazy... because I am!
The Twin hits Abel at the back of the head. Abel falls to
the floor, dropping the syringe and knocking the chair over.
ABEL

(Suttering)
Y-you-you are me! H-how is this
possible?! Why are you doing this?
TWIN
(Mocking Abel)
Duh-Duh-Duh of course I'm not you,
you dumbass!
As the Twin laughs manically, Abel looks up to him in total
fear and disbelief.
ABEL
Wh-who are you then? Why are you
doing this?!
TWIN
(Insane)
Ahahahaha, you're asking why I'm
doing this? Our parents never told
you about me did they? You're long
lost brother.
ABEL
(Nearly in tears)
My brother?!
TWIN
Yeah fairly cliche innit? My
"beloved" parents left me and kept
you! Ain't that just funny! Ahaha
(Getting closer to Abel and
then softening his voice)
I am an identical twin by the way,
just thought I'd let you know. I
had you believing in this time
travel stuff didn't I...
ABEL
(Shaking his head and crying)
You're the one who kidnapped me...
All for some bullsh... Wait?! How
could you possibly know about Sarah
then?!
TWIN
Oh this is the best part! So to do
some more research on you I decided
to go back to your old childhood
home. There I found out about your
"first love" with Sarah. So I
tracked her down.
ABEL
(Panicking)
No... you didn't...
TWIN
(Being sympathetic then being
psychotic)

Yeah... I did. It's weird sleeping

with someone, and then killing them
right after, you know?
ABEL
(Trying to attack him in
anger)
You piece of...
The twin punches Abel and he falls back to the floor,
cowering.
TWIN
(Looking at his phone)
Oh! It's nearly time! You're gonna
start feeling really tired and
drowsy. Don't worry, you'll just
pass out. You're legs feel quite
numb aswell don't they?
ABEL
Why, why are you doing this?
TWIN
It's just fun really. We're just
playing a game cos we missed out so
much during our childhood. So I
thought we could spend some quality
time together!
Abel tries to escape by slowly crawling towards the
corridor. The Twin walks around him to face him. He lies on
the floor, directly looking at him.
TWIN
Don't bother Abel, just let go and
don't struggle. Since you
remembered the fact that we've been
doing this for a while I guess I'll
increase the dose a bit.
The Twin injects the formula into Abel's neck.
TWIN
(Petting his head)
I think cos I gave you a bigger
dose you might die? It'd be a shame
though cos I wanted to play this
game a bit more. Oh well. See you
in a bit?
As the Twin keeps laughing, Abel's eyes slowly shut. Fading
the screen to black.
