DGET-6/Gen./QCI (report)/2015-TC Government of India Ministry of Labour & Employment Directorate General of Employment &Training Shram Shakti Bhawan, Rafi Marg New Delhi, dated: 11.04.2015 NOTICE Evolving a queue system for Desktop and Site Assessment - QCI_ accreditation. Ithas been brought to the notice of DGE&T by QCI that the applicant ITI(s) (for NCVT affiliation) are not responding to the non-conformities (NCs) of desktop assessment (DA) within the given timeline, which is delaying the process of site assessments. This year more than 3000 applications have been received by QCI from prospective ITI’s for NCVT affiliation. As the process of site assessment has to be completed by 20% June, 2015, leaving very short time for the accreditation/affiliation of these cases, to enable the institutions to start the August session on time. In the present situation, it may not be possible to clear such applications due to-either delay in attending to non-conformities, site assessment; resulting in postponement of further processing of such cases. In view of above, it has been decided that a queue system may be evolved by Quality Council of India (QCI) with clear timeframe such as 30 days/45 days cut- off date. Non- adherence to the timelines proposed by the QCI will result in removing the application and placing it last in the queue, and next date for site assessment will be given accordingly. I (Alok Kamar) Director General/Joint Secretary Copy to:- 1. The All State Directors/Commissioners, (Dealing with Craftsman Training Scheme).
