(1) These rules may be called the Cable Television Networks (Amendment) Rules, 2015. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Cable Television Networks Rules, 1994, in rule 6, in sub-rule (1), after the Explanation to clause (0), the following shall be inserted, namely:— (p) contains live coverage of any anti-terrorist operation by security forces, wherein media coverage shall be restricted to periodic briefing by an officer designated by the appropriate Government, till such operation concludes.
