Has Your Child Missed School This Year?

Hello Parents,
If your child misses class for whatever reason (sick, tardy, school
related services, etc.), it is up to them to collect their missed
work for that day.
I have a red binder in the classroom that is updated daily. They
simply find their name in the binder and collect their missed work.
Work that is not collected will simply accumulate in the binder as I
will not chase students down to collect their work. Any work that
is not turned in or completed within a timely manner will result in
a zero.
Students will be held responsible for any missed work. As we
prepare for middle school, it is imperative that your child realize
that it is their responsibility to get anything they have missed in
order to stay caught up with the class.
Please remind your child whenever they are out, that they need
to check the red binder if they ever miss a class of mine so that
they stay caught up.
