Entry Level

Brainstorming
Make a list of ten items that you use every day that you believe
were made in a factory.
Pick one of the items on the list and hypothesize all of the
materials, resources and people it took to create that item. Finally
make a guess as to where that item was most likely to have been
made. Do you think everything on that list was able to be found in
that country or do you think they had to trade to get some of
those resources?
Formative
Survey Monkey
In this short survey you will test your knowledge about key
aspects of the Industrial Revolution that we have learned in the
class so far. This assessment will anomalously allow for me to see
what concepts each class is understanding.
Lecture Quiz
This lecture quiz will allow for me to identify what key information
you understood from the Industrial Revolution lecture. This is a
short quiz given at the end of the power point and includes
sentence frames and multiple choice questions.
Cyclical Example
You will create a cycle on a blank sheet of paper that identifies
one type of cycle featured in the industrial revolution. This cycle
should show how each part of the economy drives the next.
Timeline
Create a timeline showing the dates of the important inventions
of the industrial revolution. The timeline should also reference
other important things going on in history at the time in order to
give us a better understanding of what is going on around the
globe.
Summative
Essay
A five paragraph essay that will detail the political, social, and
economic legacy of the industrial revolution.

Presentation
Create a presentation using google slides about one specific
invention in the Industrial Revolution. Students should use about
8 to 10 slides and speak for 3 4 minutes about their invention,
inventor and how it changed the world.
