Abstract
Health and safety (K3) is a planned effort to prevent accidental injuries and
diseases resulting from work. Safety is a company demands and obligations in any
infrastructure development activities, as well as in coal mining activities that
include stripping of overburden, excavation, reinforcement and reclamation. In
mining operations often work accidents caused by unsafe field conditions. In the
open pit area often occur due to sliding slope excavation unstable, so that it can
interfere with the activity and productivity of the mining company. Based on
research on the open pit slope stability excavation undertaken by Febrianti (2015),
at coal mines PT.Mifa Brothers, located in West Aceh Meulaboh, on the slopes of
the mine excavation indicate slope conditions are not safe, then it will continue
research on K3 in case of landslides. Occupational accidents often occur in the
mining area, the road to the mining area is not congested, unstable slopes, narrow
streets, and a sharp bend can cause accidents at the time of the activity. To view
the excavation slope stability and shape of the slope collapse, this study used a
software Plaids. After assessing the stability of the slope and then analyze the
effects of landslides on the K3 with methods Job Safety Analysis (JSA), for
megidentifikasi the danger to the safety risk management analysis will be done so
that it can be grouped levels of danger and his fighting techniques. The purpose of
this study to determine the level of risk for accidents on the company and
prevention efforts. The purpose of this study to determine the level of risk for
accidents on the company and prevention efforts. The results of the risk analysis
study are very high risk value is> 350, the activity is stopped until the risk can be
reduced until it reaches the limit allowed or accepted.
