For J Coles music video for Work out I wanted to create the sense,
which is represented through his video.
Qualitative research interview/ focus group questions
1. In general, do you watch music videos in your free time?
2. Do you think music videos should be related to the track or
should they be different and unique?
3. Would you rather see the artist of the track singing directly to
the camera or would you prefer to watch a narrative or
storyline, which accompanies the song?
4. What is your favourite music video out at the moment, and
why?
5. What specifically about this music video do you like?
6. After reading my treatment, if you could change anything
about my music video what would it be and why?
7. Do you think the people I have cast so far suit their roles in
the video?
8. Could you suggest anyone I can cast for my younger boy
character?
