1. Prepare a portrait gallery of pictures for each character in your play.


(You may have more than one picture for a character.) You may find
pictures in books, magazines, online, in paintings or artwork . . . wherever.
They should be pictures of people we do not recognize. Remember that
you are finding pictures of the characters; not pictures of actors you
want to cast as the characters. Be prepared to explain what characteristic
of the person in the picture made you choose it as a portrait of your
character.
2. Prepare a collection of pictures that help capture some aspect of the
setting and/or significant props in your play. These pictures may also
come from various sources. Be prepared to explain what aspect of the
picture relates to your plays setting.
