Character Analysis

Choose one of the main characters discussed in class and write a well developed,
organized and detailed character analysis.
You will need to discuss all aspects of the character.
You may include his/her interactions with others and how that helped develop the
character.
Criteria:

Format
Introduction: TAG, thesis, transitions
P1: Personality, physical, influences, education,
family, etc.
P2: Motivation - what causes the character to
behave the way he does? What does he want?
P3: Development - How and why does the
character change? How are his conflicts resolved?
How does he tie to theme? Symbolism?
Conclusion: new understanding about character,
theme, etc.
