Aim: To determine the dew point for a week
Materials: 250 cm3 Beaker
Ice cubes
Thermometer
Water
Procedure:
1. A 250cm3 beaker was filled with tap water to about the 150cm 3 mark.
2. The temperature of the tap water was recorded.
3. The ice cubes were added to the beaker containing the water and stirred
gently until condensation appeared on the outside of the beaker.
4. The dew point was found for each day, Monday to Friday, in a week and the
results were recorded in a table.
5. A bar chart was plot for the data obtained.
